Meet our Founder

Jackie Laurian Long birthed TheraPaint Studio from needing an outlet to move the emotional weight of life’s challenges through her body to make space available for healing beyond therapy and exercise. The physical exertion of throwing paint and the visual representation of her messiest feelings on the wall in front of her allowed her to access and process those feelings with a new more objective perspective. What started as an unconventional avenue of release in her garage became the spark of this empowering, connected practice.

The Details

Each and every detail was carefully selected by our founder with the intention of making TheraPaint Studio a haven for all who enter. From the architectural details to the curated local art selections, the vintage chairs in the waiting room to the play on texture with paints throughout, the almost hundred year old house-turned-studio welcomes you immediately to come in, unwind, and trust that we can hold whatever you throw at us.
